This year’s Royal Melbourne Hospital Home Lottery featured the biggest grand prize yet—a stunning $5.8 million luxury residence in Camberwell. A striking architectural collaboration between builders Mazzei and Webster Architecture & Interiors (WAI), external charred timber cladding is mirrored by breathtaking dark and moody tones within.

The heart of the home features several living spaces, including two sunken lounges, a designer kitchen, and an inbuilt burgundy cocktail bar. Distinctive and contemporary, this open-plan home is designed for family-style living whilst providing the perfect environment for entertaining all year round.

The Brief:

A central aim of the project was to create a sense of warmth and harmony against the darker tones provided by burnt wood panelling and engineered stone. Designed to embody luxury in every detail, the home required elegant flooring that could seamlessly integrate with contemporary interior design while offering longevity and durability to accommodate high-traffic areas.
