This Carnegie Residence was shaped around a simple idea, that a home should feel warm from the moment you step inside. In this space, everything begins with the floor. Hazel timber flooring from the Woodcut Premium range sets a gentle, grounding rhythm throughout, its soft natural tones carrying light from room to room and giving each corner a quiet glow.
Set against crisp cabinetry and open, airy interiors, the timber becomes the thread that ties the spaces together, bringing a sense of continuity that makes the architecture feel human and lived in. It brightens the home without calling attention to itself, adding depth, comfort and an ease that turns well considered rooms into a place to properly live.
