Our timber floors look better, and they fit better. That’s because of the high-quality wood we source from Europe and the way in which we extract the veneer from the logs. We use a sawn cut extraction method which means the quality of the veneer is not negatively affected. This is different from the typical sliced cut veneer method, in which the timber is softened by boiling, and later peeled off using a slicer.
We maintain the integrity of the wood, sawing the veneer away and ensuring you’re left with the natural finish and solidity of the wood.
Our innovative nosing method sets us apart, too. We use engineered and machined nosings, with silver or brass inserts that offer mitre protection. Our method ensures that each piece of timber is rounded on the edge and protected from chipping, ensuring a flush fit that lasts a long time.
